Processing Technology and Features

Canada’s first hearing aid manufacturer developed into an industry leader thanks to a large network of distribution partners in 20 international offices and 70 countries throughout the world.

Unitron’s award-winning AntiShock™, SmartFocus™ and, most recently, SpeechZone technologies within their SoundCore and Vivante processing engines are among the hearing aid features designed to address speech preservation and intelligibility.

Thanks to these technologies and others, Unitron wearers have access to optimized speech understanding and localization from various directions, SoundNav monitoring to adjust hearing aid settings to different sound environments as they move about, and the capacity to focus on front-facing speech sounds in noisy conditions.

Additional Key Features

  • Noise reduction, speech enhancement, feedback management, wind noise control, speech locators, and tinnitus maskers, thanks to Bluetooth compatibility

  • Programmable sound enhancements

  • Smartphone connectivity using Insight technology

  • Hearing care professionals can review your hearing environments to optimize hearing aid settings using Log It All

  • Antishock smooths out loud, jarring noises

  • Automatic Adaptation Manager gradually adjusts your hearing aids into higher levels of amplification while you’re getting used to your new hearing aids

  • Binaural Phone streams phone audio into both ears wirelessly
