We're Helping with Manna's November Food Drive

Oct 31, 2020

It breaks our heart, but 1 in 5 kids don’t have enough food, right here in Escambia and Sana Rosa counties.

No child should go to bed hungry. So many families are struggling to put food on the table, especially now with income loss due to COVID-19.

That’s why, this November, we’re partnering with Manna – a local grassroots organization fighting local hunger – by running a food drive. If you have an appointment during this month, then please bring a canned food item along and drop into our donation box.

All food items will be distributed through Manna and go directly to the people that need them. Your help could be the difference between a meal on the table for local children. If you'd like to help further, please visit the Manna website by clicking here.

Who Is Manna & What Do They Do?

Manna is a local grassroots organization fighting hunger in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties. They provide groceries directly to individuals and families in need. Their services are all offered free of charge. They receive no government funding and have no national affiliation.

Most of their funding comes from individuals, foundations, faith-based organizations, corporations, and businesses. Manna is nonsectarian, community-focused, and volunteer-supported.

They believe every person has a right to live free of hunger and to be treated with respect and dignity and so do we!
